I think that he would because he was already gonna do it even if he wasn't older and stronger. I think that he would give it to the people.Uncle I think wanted to go back and fight so that they can't come and hurt more people.
The groups attitude changes towards Salva because Uncle died, but I think Salva will change their minds by not being weak and not giving up.
