A Long Walk to Water

Salva got terrified because his friend got lost and there was blood and lions around.
so his uncle kept him calm by saying "Salva, I have a gun if any lions come close I will shoot them." and that made him feel a lot calmer hearing his uncles voice.

I think that the worst element in my opinion that he has faced is probably, heat. because it drains his energy, also it makes him feel pain and hallucinate.

when Salva was just giving up, his uncle gave him really good fruit, then told him to keep walking, just to those bushes and he did that for a long time and every time he did his uncle said his full name, so it reminded him of his family.

Nothing can survive in the desert.

Term 3 week 2 Learning Reflection

One thing I enjoyed at school this week is P.E because we had badminton because It's one of my favourite things to do.

One thing that I learnt at school this week is that i'm not good at quickly doing my times tables because I can't answer that fast.

One thing that I want to work on next week is my quick times tables.

At the end of chapter 5 someone tapped Salva on the shoulder and I predict that, the person is his sister, I think that at the end of chapter six he will get his family back one by one, but one of them won't come back.

And in his group I think something will happen to his friend or the old man, because it's not just a happy story.

I predict that sometime in chapter 6 that the group will run out of water and food and it all comes down to Salva's piece of honeycomb.
